Colossians 1:19-23

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

The Required Blood
Vs. 19-20 In verse eighteen the Apostle Paul declared of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that "He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence." And so Jesus Christ is not only the Head (source, origin, Supreme Leader of the body, I.e. the church), having been the first to rise from the dead for it's inception. But He is too always have the Preeminence within it. In other words no-one before Him and no one above Him. All hierarchy, whether on earth or in heaven, ends with Him. For as the Apostle Paul declares "For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell" vs.. 19
In Jesus Christ then God the Father put all of Himself. There is then nothing of God, no Attribute, Position, or Power of God the Father that was not in God the Son (consider Isaiah 9:6). Therefore if you have Jesus Christ in your life as your Lord and Savior you have all of God the Father! That is what the Apostle Paul is saying when he says "For it pleased the Father that in Him (i.e. In Christ) all the fullness should dwell." vs. 19  Therefore you need no canonized saints or angels to appeal too or pray through, nor do you need to follow any man made and decreed ordinances and rituals in order to know God. All you need is to believe in Jesus Christ, for that is where everything Christian starts (consider John 6:29). For again everything of God and that comes from God is exclusively found In the Person  and work of Jesus Christ as testified too in the Scriptures. For Jesus Christ is not only the Divine Incarnation of God in human flesh, but it is exclusively by Jesus Christ that God the Father has chosen to reconcile all things too Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven. For it is through the blood of Jesus Christ's cross that God the Father has made peace for us all who believe in Jesus with Himself (vs.  20). Indeed all of creation (whether in heaven or on earth) God has reconciled too Himself by the blood of Jesus Christ's cross. For it was there at Calvary, outside of Jerusalem's walls, that God the Father paid the ransom for all our sins by the crucifixion death of His only begotten Son Jesus. For as the Book of Hebrews declares "without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins" (Heb 9:22 emphasis mine). Therefore it is only by the crucifixion death and shed blood of Jesus Christ's Sinless Mortal Person, that God the Father has made the atonement for all our souls (consider Lev 17:11). And having made the atonement for all our souls, God the Father now offers us all reconciliation and peace with Himself exclusively through His Son Jesus Christ.  For it is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ's Person, and Him alone, that we come into a personal and living relationship with the Living God.

The Required Body
Vs. 21-22 Having declared that it is through Jesus Christ's shed blood that reconciliation and peace with God is possible for all, the Apostle Paul now addresses us all who have received the reconciliation through Christ's blood, by saying "And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— " vs 21-22
Therefore from being people once alienated from God; because as Gentiles we were all once outside of a Covenant relationship with God (see Ephesians 2:11-18); or were enemies towards God in our minds, because of the wicked works done in our lives. Yet now Jesus Christ has reconciled us all who believe in Him to Himself. And this He has accomplished through the body of His flesh through death, so as to present us holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight. For the atonement having been made for our souls, Jesus Christ's own righteousness is now imputed to us (2 Cor 5:21). So that we who believe in Jesus may all appear holy, blameless and above reproach in His sight. Therefore to deny that Jesus Christ lived as a Man amongst us is to deny His Person (consider 1 John 4:2-3).

The Required Faith
Vs. 23 God then having provided the blood and the body to make the atonement for all our souls has but one requirement that He lays on us all and that is in order to apply His atoning work to our lives we must place all our faith in His Person having come in His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Who came to suffer and die a crucifixion death in our place to make a finial and the full atonement for all our souls. Then Jesus rose from the dead three days later appearing to His disciples before ascending forty days later in their presence back to God the Father thus fulfilling the Scriptures and establishing the church (His Body of believers) with the Holy Spirits outpouring at Pentecost (Acts 2). Therefore the Apostle Paul's exhortation and warning here is that we must all continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast and not be moved away from the hope of the Gospel which we heard and received by faith in Jesus; which has been and is being preached to every creature under heaven, of which Paul was a minister. Just as you and I are both ministers and witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ Person and life because we not only believe in Him, we also experience Him, therefore our persons and spirits must testify of Him, and the reconciliation and peace He gives to all who repent and believe in Him.

If today you have heard God's voice speaking to your spirit in some way then please seize the moment and opportunity and be reconciled to Him today. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life so that he might forgive you and cleanse you of all your sins and transgressions the moment you believe and  confess Him as Lord alone, He will come into you, and transform You as He promises (John 5:24; 6:40; Acts 10:43). Therefore be reconciled to God today and have remission of all your sins and life everlasting (John 3:16).
