36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the
house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the
tares of the field.” 37 He answered and said to them: “He
who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are
the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the
harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the
fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and
they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who
practice lawlessness, 42 and
will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of
teeth. 43 Then
the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He
who has ears to hear, let him hear!
41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Commentary
The Lord Jesus having declared His
parables to the multitudes, and having sent them away, now goes into the house
and it will be there that the disciples will ask Him about the parable of the
wheat and tares (vs. 36). First then, it is the Son of Man, the Lord
Jesus Christ, who sows the good seed in this parable, the field where He sows
is the world, making true disciples in every generation everywhere in the
world. Therefore, those seeds whom Christ has sown are the sons of the kingdom.
In contrast then is the tares (i.e. the weeds) who are not true disciples, but are
only the sons of the wicked one, for it is the devil who sows (or plants) them everywhere
the Lord Jesus Christ makes true disciples in this world (vs. 37-39). Which
explains a lot as to why both the Lord Jesus Christ and Christians in general
can become maligned because of their conduct and behavior. Now the harvest is
the end of the age (that is the end of this current age in which the manifested
kingdom of heaven is now without our King on earth Ruling us), thus the end of
the age is when Christ returns for us, when He will set all things right. Therefore,
the Lord Jesus Christ also says that just as the reapers gather up all the
tares and bind them in bundles to be burned in the fire so it will be at the
end of this age (vs. 40).
For then the Son of Man, the Lord Jesus
Christ will send out His angels and they will gather out of His Kingdom all
things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness and will cat them into
the fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (vs. 41-42). And so
it is all who now offend our Lord and Savior and all who practice lawlessness
(that is violate God’s moral Law) who go on in their sins unrepentantly, though
they may be apart of the external kingdom of heaven on earth will be removed
from it at the end of the age and cast into hells everlasting fire (see Rev.
21:6-8). Thus, every unbeliever and every false professor, schemer and liar
along with all who justified and or lived by what is spiritually and or morally
evil and wicked, along with every false teacher, prophet, and preacher who made
“disciples” but only for their own gain through their deceiving doctrines, lying,
coveting, and immoral ways will be removed from Christ’s Kingdom forever! For
then the Kingdom of heaven being purified the righteous will shine forth as the
sun in the kingdom of their Father! Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ concludes
by saying he who has ears to hear, let him hear! For the homosexual and
transgender abominations and lies that are now in vogue and are now being so
fiercely defended and propagated here in this world by those belonging to it
must not have any place amongst us who know and believe the truth. “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
2 Cor.7:1
41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
